After a year of launching, artist nomination, nomination exhibition, voting and other stages, spanning the two cities of Beijing and Shanghai, porsche's "biennial selection of young artists in China" from 2018 to 2019 will usher in the most important moment of the year -- the announcement and award ceremony of winning artists on November 7!

On May 30, 2019, June 2, 2018, porsche's "biennial selection of young artists in China" nomination exhibition was presented at the second JINGART exhibition in Beijing.

What makes life so different today? (Whatis it that makes today's LIFE so different? ) "as the theme, through innovative and diversified artistic creation, the 20 nominated artists have interpreted the current popular lifestyle and a series of issues that have attracted wide attention from the perspective of young people, thus triggering in-depth scrutiny and reflection on the society. Nomination form works creation from the easel painting, sculpture, video, installation to the artificial intelligence, virtual reality, finished products, and other media material widely used now, or misappropriate the image of social life directly, or in literature, sociology, anthropology, economics, aesthetics as a prototype, a series of more and more attention from a different perspective to reflect the present issues: stylized mechanism of media inquiry, individual identities in the process of globalization, cultural ideas under the technological leap of fragile, intelligent emotional distance in the large cities.

On the first day of the nomination exhibition, the jury composed of the nomination committee, representatives of the top art schools in China and the authoritative art media voted on the basis of the young artists' works and the on-site presentation. The results were sealed by ART021 Shanghai contemporary art fair and Cc foundation.
