Introduction

Born in Beijing in 1966 and graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1991, Feng Mengbo is one of the earliest artists in China to focus on and use digital technology. He began to create interactive art as early as the 1990s. He has been invited to participate in Kassel Documenta for two consecutive years and is regarded as a leading figure in Chinese media art, especially famous for his use of video game creation. In recent years, he has returned to painting, photography, installation and other media from the early slideshow, electronic, analog and digital, and collaborated with musicians such as Wu Na and New Pants to perform live music.
