Amir H. Fallah is a contemporary artist whose practice centers on painting. He received his BFA in Fine Art and Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art and earned his MFA in painting from the University of California, Los Angeles. Fallah has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions across the United States and internationally, with solo presentations at institutions such as the Fowler Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art Tucson, the San Diego ICA, and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. He participated in the 9th Sharjah Biennial in 2009 and has received numerous awards, including the Joan Mitchell Foundation Painters and Sculptors Grant in 2015, the Northern Trust Purchase Prize at EXPO Chicago in 2019, and grants from COLA and Artadia in 2020. His works are held in major public and private collections worldwide, including LACMA, the Albright Knox Art Gallery, and the Deste Foundation for Contemporary Art.
